Umbrae dropped the pen on the table and shook the cramps from his hands. He urgently rolled the last scroll and tossed it onto the pile.

“Geoffrey!” he yelled as the young squire rushed into his study.

“Yes, Sire!” he prompted awaiting his master to respond.

“Take these piles and scatter them about,” Umbrae waved his hands over the stacks of parchment.

“Scatter them where, Sire?” he questioned. Geoffrey flinched slightly as his master’s eyes quickly flashed upon him.

“Where? Where people will see them, of course!” Umbrae proclaimed. “Preferably those that have frequented the most recent gathering place.”

“At once, Sire!” Geoffrey acknowledged as he gathered the bundles of scrolls and scurried off.
